SV	En de schare stond gezamenlijk tegen hen op; en de hoofdmannen, hun de klederen afgescheurd hebbende, bevalen hen te geselen.

Alex	και συνεπεστη ο οχλος κατ αυτων και οι στρατηγοι περιρηξαντεσ αυτων τα ιματια εκελευον ραβδιζειν
ASV	And the multitude rose up together against them: and the magistrates rent their garments off them, and commanded to beat them with rods.
BE	And the people made an attack on them all together: and the authorities took their clothing off them, and gave orders for them to be whipped.

Darby	And the crowd rose up too against them; and the praetors, having torn off their clothes, commanded to scourge [them].
